One Foot in the Grave,# cover blog

One Foot in the Grave,# cover blog

The use of imagery, typography and photography, this is really pleasing to the eye. The use of all media in the cover is dimensional and blends well together to create a robust print based peace of visual art. The font is really eye-catching and marries well with the white background (sky) to create a well-rounded and sound contrast.
The gradient used on the title (One Foot in the Grave) is really nice, this brings some depth and clarity to the title. The overall back ground drop for this cover is really sound. The back drop is almost has a three dimensional feel to is. This is due to the fact that the back ground picture is take at a slight angle.
The proportion of the overall peace is relay eye catching, the fact that the back ground is smaller. The photo of the two caricatures are bigger, this visually makes you want to watch the program.
